The colour pink, for example, is thought to be a calming colour associated with love, kindness, and femininity. Many people immediately associate the colour pink with all things feminine and girly. It might also bring to mind romance and holidays such as Valentine's Day. with the keeping of the holiday theme it goes further as when people think of holidays they think off going abroad to other countries and tend to forget holidays like Christmas and valentine's Day. some negatives of the colour pink can be that it can have senses of passivity, and an unwillingness to take matters seriously. We think of pink as the colour of inexperience and associate it with weakness and inhibitions. Pink can also be associated with timidity or a tendency to be overly emotional. I decided to use pink/pink tones In my second magazine and it connotes that real feminine feeling. by including pink and it being all feminine it gives a sense of community with in the girls and almost portrays the message of being a girls girls. not everyone have to love the colour pink and not everyone has to hate it but people who do like it I think will enjoy this edition more as it will cater to their aesthetic
